Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic was irate after the loss against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night. The Lakers’ biggest star, LeBron James, responded.
Namely, Rajakovic highly criticized the discrepancy between the foul calls both teams received, as the Lakers shot 23 free throws in the fourth quarter compared to just two from the Raptors.
Rajakovic called it ‘complete crap’ and said it was happening often. Asked about the coach’s comments, James didn’t comment much.
“I feel like they fouled, and we didn’t,” LeBron said.
This comes just hours after James complained about a referee review on X, formerly Twitter, after the league determined that the overturned call against Jaylen Brown in Monday’s matchup between the Boston Celtics and the Indiana Pacers was correct.
