CRISTIANO RONALDO has been beaten to top spot by a former team-mate in a study conducted to determine the world’s sexiest footballer.
Ronaldo, 38, has never been shy in showing off his looks and has built up an army of over 600million Instagram followers.

The Portuguese star has a huge fanbase… but in a study conducted by Badge Clinic, he was only listed as the second sexiest footballer.
Badge Clinic produced their findings by analysing popular picture-sharing platform Pinterest.
By determining the number of pins each player received, they produced their top ten.
Ronaldo was found to have 364,476 pins – putting him at No2 in the list.
But his figure is miles behind ex-Real Madrid team-mate Marco Asensio.
The winger, now at Paris Saint-Germain, appears to be a Pinterest sensation.
Asensio, 27, has 903,364 pins – more than 500,000 more than Ronaldo.
The Spaniard also has over 15million followers on Instagram.

Brazilian star Neymar is at third on the list with 275,274 pins – having just moved to the Saudi Pro League.
While Manchester United new-boy Mason Mount is fourth with 225,224.
Ronaldo’s old rival Lionel Messi is No1 for many in the GOAT race – but only fifth here with 220,701 pins.

Jude Bellingham is the second highest-ranked England star, behind Mount, the Real Madrid ace having accrued 144,895.
French sensation Kylian Mbappe is next with 136,155 at No7, trailing way behind PSG team-mate Asensio.
While Tottenham’s South Korean superstar and captain Son Heung-min, an ambassador for Calvin Klein, is eighth with 125,630.
Antoine Griezmann is the second Frenchman in the top ten after Mbappe, narrowly trailing Son with 124,967 pins.
Former Chelsea loanee Joao Felix rounds off the top ten on 102,830.
