Unveiling the Electric Atmosphere: Exclusive Glimpse into Inter Miami’s Leagues Cup Celebration

David Beckham joins the locker room celebration following penalty shootout win over Nashville, where Lionel Messi and co. open champagne and deluge manager Tata Martino.

On Saturday night, when Lionel Messi and his teammates soaked manager Tata Martino with a bottle of champagne after winning the Leagues Cup, David Beckham joined the players of Inter Miami in their locker room to celebrate.

Just hours after Inter Miami’s tҺrilling penalty shootout victory over Nashville at Geodis Park in Tennessee, the team’s official X account declared in Spanish, “Today is celebrated” and posted video of the players celebrating their victory.

Messi wasn’t the only Miami player spotted celebrating with champagne; left back Jordi Alba, defensive midfielder Victor Ulloa, and star striker Josef Martinez all wore ski masks to protect their eyes from the spray. From within the locker room, we also observed a table laden with bооze, including several cases of the American beverage Coors Light, which proudly stood next to the Leagues Cup.

The 48-year-old Beckham, who owns the Herons with Jorge Mas, stopped over to take a picture with Inter Miami’s vital three stars and Barcelona contingent, Messi, Alba, and Sergio Busquets.

The Miami team celebrated their Leagues Cup victory by drinking bееr out of the trophy and jamming to reggaetón tunes in the locker room.

When Martinez, Ulloa, and the rest of the team showed up to the postgame news conference in full voice and with many bottles of champagne to spray their manager, Tata Martino was caught off guard.

When Martino came out of his seat to give Martinez a hug, he was wet.

Right-back DeAndre Yedlin was also seen merrily conversing and laughing with his teammates. When it came time for Inter Miami to depart from Tennessee for South Florida, the Leagues Cup trophy was placed in a black case and loaded onto the club’s private plane.

Man of the Match and goalie for Inter Miami, Drake Callendar, was seen clutching the club’s first trophy in its five-year history as the team prepared to board their plane on Sunday morning.

Messi’s new club, with a 5-14-3 record, is in last place in the MLS Eastern Conference despite Messi’s 10 goals in 7 games.

Inter Miami has won seven straight matches and will next compete in the US Open Cup against Cincinnati.

This month, on August 26, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner will make his Major League Soccer (MLS) debut, likely against the New York Red Bulls.
