No one appears to care about or desire to assist the homeless dog who is constantly walking the streets with a massive tumor on his neck.

It was a heartbreaking call that the rescuers received – a poor dog, with a wire tightly tied around her neck, had been wandering on a busy street for hours, unnoticed by anyone. The rescuers found her weak and helpless, with the wire deeply sunk into her skin. They rushed her to the vet, where she underwent a long and complicated operation. But the surgery was successful, and the rescuers named her Felicity.

Felicity’s journey was a long and difficult one, but her determination to survive and trust in people slowly returned. Despite her injuries, she showed a gentle and kind nature, which made the rescuers even more determined to help her. They shared daily updates on her progress, and the outpouring of support and love from people all around the world was overwhelming.

After weeks of treatment, Felicity finally made a full recovery, gaining a few kilos and needing more time for rehabilitation. But the best news came when the rescuers announced that Felicity had found her forever home in Germany. Her new family, Heike Fetzer and Susanne Griszkat, opened their hearts and their home to Felicity, giving her the love and care she deserved.

Felicity’s journey is a testament to the resilience and strength of animals, who can overcome incredible hardships and find happiness again. It is also a reminder of the importance of animal rescue organizations and the compassionate people who work tirelessly to save animals in need. We thank the rescuers, the vet, and Felicity’s new family for their dedication and love towards her. Let’s continue to support animal rescue efforts and work towards a world where every animal can live a happy and healthy life.
