The Oscar-winning actor was pictured arriving at the COP26 Blue Zone at the SEC campus today.
He was surrounded by a team of security guards who escorted him through the campus as people tried to catch a glimpse of the film star.
Last night, Leo posed alongside Emmy nominated writer/producer Paul Goodenough, founder of charity organisation Rewriting Extinction, and appeared to promote a new climate change comic at the Engine Works venue in Maryhill.
In the snap, Wolf of Wall Street star Leo clutches Paul’s book The Most Important Comic Book on Earth: Stories to Save the World.
It features a global collaboration for planetary change, bringing together a diverse team of 300 leading environmentalists, artists, authors, actors, filmmakers, musicians, and more to present over 120 stories to save the world.
And producer Paul hailed the actor a “hero” for turning up at the event.
The Titanic star had not officially confirmed his attendance in Glasgow for the climate change summit – but hinted he may turn up after adding #COP26 to his official Instagram bio.
He threw his weight behind the Engine Works event last night, as the venue is taken over by landmark sustainability event Goals House for the duration of COP26.
As part of the takeover, events such as panel discussions, networking events and dinners are being held at the site, all geared towards climate action.
It’s not the first time the DiCaprio has visited Scotland to promote a worthy cause.
The Oscar-winning star was in Edinburgh in 2016 to support homeless charity Social Bite.
Leo, then 42, stopped to sign autographs and take pictures with delighted fans – who mobbed the streets – on his maiden voyage to Scotland.

In other COP26 news, Piers Morgan has branded Greta Thunberg “very, very annoying” after her sweary climate crisis speech in Glasgow.
The former Good Morning Britain presenter, 56, admitted he liked the teen activist as she appeared at COP26 – but that she gets on his nerves.
In a tweet, he said: “I like Greta Thunberg and think she’s a very effective campaigner – but she can also be very very annoying.”
The Swedish eco warrior, 18, had earlier hit out at the COP26 World Leaders Summit on the second day of summit – and chanted “you can shove your climate crisis up your arse”.
