Pep Guardiola‘s Manchester City are eyeing up a £45million-rated young star amid a bidding war with European giants, according to reports.
Despite splashing over £200m this summer on four new signings – including Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic, they’re not slowing down any time soon.
Guardiola’s side continue their race to retain the treble following last season’s success.
The wonderkid has become the centre of a European bidding war, as per Four Four Two, with Juventus, Inter Milan and PSG all eyeing up a move for the youngster.
The Atalanta star has attracted lots of attention from some of the biggest clubs in Europe after impressing in Serie A.

19-year-old centre-back Giorgio Scalvini has described the Premier League as ‘the best league there is, for its intensity.
Scalvini told Corriere dello Sport: ‘Once in my career, I don’t even know when, I’d like to play there.
Though the interest from Pep’s side will not go unrivalled, as Atalanta’s league rivals Juventus and Inter Milan will also look to snatch the young star.
Ligue One champions PSG were told that they would have to pay £45m for the centre-back, though the figure could rise throughout the season.
Having started seven out of eight of Atalanta’s game this season, Scalvini has also been capped seven times for Italy, including against England in their 3-1 victory at Wembley.
According to reports, City have been following Scalvini for some time and was reportedly the second-choice option for Josko Gvardiol this summer.
With the January transfer window looming, Pep could look to secure the Italian star to bolster their defence.
