Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is being rumoured to be working at WWE‘s Elimination Chamber event in Perth next year.
WWE confirmed they would head to Australia for the first time in six years last week, with the annual Chamber event to be held at the Optus Stadium in February.
Anticipation is high for the event, which will likely be headlines by current WWE Women’s World Championship Rhea Ripley in her home country.
But there will be a number of other stars in town for the event and Johnson may top the lot, with reports suggesting he could well turn up at the event, which is just five month away.
According to The West Australian, the veteran may wrestle at the event to begin the build to a potential match against real-life cousin and WWE Undisputed World Champion Roman Reigns.
There is reportedly a possibility that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson could wrestle at WWE Elimination Chamber
He returned to WWE programming just over a week ago, though plans around his future are currently unclear

WWE was recently sold to Endeavor, meaning next year’s WrestleMania will be the first of its kind under the new ownership.
The idea is reportedly that the company are keen to make the event a spectacular one because of that reason, with Reigns versus The Rock as serious possibility as the main event of the two-day event.
If the pair were to face off, weeks of build-up would be required, and the Elimination Chamber could be the place to start the programme.
Johnson made a return to WWE programming a little over a week ago, appearing on SmackDown as he confronted Austin Theory and engaged with a number of other stars backstage.
Prior to his showing he had teased a potential match with Reigns at next year’s ‘Mania, telling The Pat McAfee Show that the match was supposed to have happened earlier on in 2023.

Johnson revealed plans to face Reigns at this year’s WrestleMania were ‘locked in’ but had to be cancelled
‘Alright, so, The Rock headlining WrestleMania with Roman Reigns, SoFi Stadium… that was locked,’ he said.
‘We were doing it. We were doing it, but let me tell you. In the beginning of 2022 Nick Khan, he was very instrumental in bringing Vince [McMahon] and I together. We all flew to LA, me broke out, toasted life and the business we love, and we starting talking about the potential of what this match could be between myself and Roman Reigns headlining WrestleMania.
‘So we decided to put our pencils down and we agreed that there is a merger coming up and WrestleMania Philadelphia.
‘But again, let’s figure out what that is. Because the fans deserve something incredible and unprecedented, but I also want to deliver to the locker room and the boys and the girls working their a***s off.’
