Our purpose

Why LOAD90 exists

Football is more than a scoreline. A win doesn’t always mean a team played better. A defeat doesn’t always tell the whole story.

LOAD90 was created to connect results, performance and expectations — giving football fans a clearer picture of what happens on the pitch and what might come next.

Our approach

Clear numbers. Honest limits.

Useful football analysis makes its assumptions visible.

Football comes first.

LOAD90 forecasts are built from football data. Bookmaker odds are not an input to the LOAD90 forecast.

A forecast is a probability.

A favourite can lose. Ratings and forecasts describe strength and likelihood; they do not promise a result.

Context has a role.

Rest, travel and weather help describe a team’s situation. They are not automatically treated as proven effects on a match outcome.

Behind the numbers

Understand how it works.

LOAD90 uses Elo-based strength ratings and a statistical goals model, with tested adjustments. Pre-match forecasts are frozen at kick-off, scales are versioned, and missing data stays visible.

LOAD90 and eScored share a football data infrastructure, while LOAD90 develops its own ratings, forecasts and contextual analysis. Coverage depends on the competitions and data available.
